Lew was well-known for his show "Sunday Baroque" on WRKF-FM as well as his "Dixieland" show and "Big Bands and Old Favorites" and was also influential in south Louisiana radio as creator of the Classic Rock format with WCKW and for his support in the beginnings of Black Gospel station, WXOK.
